The model AZ-1SHM Smart HART^® modem is an innovative service tool that facilitates field work on devices that utilize the HART ^® communication protocol, in addition to the signal conversion function of a HART ^® modem.  Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot devices efficiently and safely.

Features & Benefits

• Loop Power / HART ^® Communication Checker allows users to set and adjust devices without having to connect to a DCS or take the device out of service.  A Support Tool (Windows application) displays HART ^® communication waveforms and details, enabling deep analysis of various phenomena. 
• Power to the Field Device can be supplied by the model AZ-1SHM, allowing parameters to be set and checked on a device that is not powered due to construction or maintenance.

• DE Communication protocol is supported when the model AZ-1SHM is used with Azbil’s Field Communication Software model CFS100, allowing users to set up and adjust devices on legacy DE loops.
